Video Lectures on DVD: These videos feature the textbook authors reviewing the high points of each chapter. Video presenters also work through the Step-by-Step examples from the text. The presentations continue the same student-friendly style and emphasis on critical thinking as the text. The DVD format makes it easy and convenient to watch the videos from a computer or on a television. These caption-optional videos can also be downloaded as video podcasts from within the MyStatLab online course.

Student’s Solutions Manual: This manual, by William Craine, provides detailed, worked-out solutions to odd-numbered exercises.

TI-83/84 Plus® and TI-89® Manual: This Graphing Calculator Manual, by Patricia Humphrey (Georgia Southern University), is organized to follow the sequence of topics in the text and is an easy-to-follow, step-by-step guide on how to use the TI-83/84 Plus and TI-89 graphing calculators. It provides worked-out examples to help students fully understand and use the graphing calculator.

ActivStats®: (Mac and PC) Developed by Paul Velleman and Data Description, Inc., ActivStats provides an introductory Statistics course on DVD-ROM using the full potential of multimedia. ActivStats integrates video, simulation, animation, narration, text, pictures, interactive experiments, and Web access into a rich learning environment. The course offers practice with real data via links to the Data Desk statistics package included on the disk. Using ActivStats, students develop a sound understanding of statistical concepts and methods. The DVD-ROM follows a course scope and sequence consistent with the ASA/MAA guidelines for teaching introductory Statistics and the Advanced Placement Statistics course. ActivStats is designed to closely match this text. It also can be used as a source of laboratory activities, a personal study guide, or the core of a self-paced or distance learning course. Add instructor extensions to each page to tailor the material to particular course needs. The Data Desk version of ActivStats is included in every new copy of this book. ActivStats for Excel, JMP, Minitab, SPSS, and Data Desk is a separate DVD-ROM available for purchase.

Statistics Study Card: This Study Card is a resource for students containing important formulas, definitions, and tables that correspond precisely to the De Veaux/Velleman/Bock Statistics series. This card can work as a reference for completing homework assignments or as an aid in studying.

Graphing Calculator Tutorial for Statistics: This tutorial will guide students through the keystrokes needed to most efficiently use their graphing calculator. Although based on the TI-84 Plus Silver Edition, operating system 2.30, the keystrokes for this calculator are identical to those one the TI-84 Plus, and very similar to the TI-83 and TI-83 Plus. This tutorial should be helpful to students using any of these calculators, though there may be differences in some lessons. The tutorial is organized by topic.
