Chapter 6: Find What You Want--Fast!

You might be wasting a lot of time if you keep going back to the same old search engine every time you need to hunt down information on the Net. Chapter 6 presents a systematic approach to online searching. We describe four different types of search tools and explain which tools are best for what types of questions. We show how to use successive query refinement to get the best possible results, and we finish up with a discussion of quality assessment.
