These data sets may be used for further exploration when doing the referenced example or exercise. Due to the changing nature of the Internet, these sites may no longer exist or they may exist in different format. Chapter 3Section 3.1, Page 125, Example 1:For help in graphing inequalities and using test points, experiment with the function drawing applet supplied by the Journal of Online Mathematics. Section 3.2, Page 137, Example 3: A Linear Programming Applet is available for graphical solutions. Although a work in progress, the applet is useful in visualizing feasible regions. Section 3.3, Page 142, Example 3: Recommended dietary allowances (RDA) for a variety of nutritional components can be found in the RDA pages of the National Agricultural Library of the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
