Section 3.1, Page 125, Example 1:
For help in graphing inequalities and using test points, experiment with the function drawing applet supplied by the Journal of Online Mathematics.

Section 3.2, Page 137, Example 3:
A Linear Programming Applet is available for graphical solutions. Although a work in progress, the applet is useful in visualizing feasible regions.

Section 3.3, Page 142, Example 3:
Recommended dietary allowances (RDA) for a variety of nutritional components can be found in the RDA pages of the National Agricultural Library of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. A discussion of the Diet problem can be found here.
