Programs (Programs.zip): This file contains the programs in application form. Program folders are numbered by chapter and figure. Most programs are executed by running the run.class file.

These applications are written to make them convenient to convert to applet form. Copying two files (AppletRun.class and run.html) into a folder allows the program to be executed as an applet.

The Programs/SelectedClasses folder contains source code for several Java classes used in this textbook. The classes included are Bag, EventButton, EventSlider, EventTimer, Image, Line, Oval, Rectangle, run, SimpleList and ThreeButtons. Also included are the AppletRun.java, AppletRun.class and run.html files.

Programs for BlueJ (ProgramsForBlueJ.zip): This file contains the programs in BlueJ form. Program folders are numbered by chapter and figure. Most programs are executed by instantiating the Driver class.

Specifications (Specifications.zip): This contains a collection of files and folders to supply abridged class diagrams and specifications in HTML form for many of the more significant classes used in the textbook. This includes the selected classes, as well as several classes from the standard Java API. A list of the specifications is given in the index.html file.
