You'll find everything you need to optimize your computer for use of the website on the Site Requirements page, including system requirements, links to update your web browser, and links to update your plug-ins. Go to the Site Requirements by clicking "Site Reqs" at the top of this window. Yes. Your subscription includes access through your Login name and Password from any computer with an internet connection—at home, school, work, or the library. Just go to the website, and enter your Login name and Password into the corresponding fields. You may only use your Login name and Password from one computer at a time, however. Your Login name and Password identify you as either an Instructor or Student. Instructors can create a class for this website and have their students join the class so that, as students complete website activities such as quizzes and tutorials, their results are reported in the instructor's class gradebook. Online help describes how instructors create a class and provide the class ID to their students. Students then use the website's Join a Class feature to join the class, after which they appear in a class roster that the instructor can view and edit. Students using this website have access to a Results Reporter where they can see the results of the website activities they complete. The Results Reporter is available to students regardless of whether or not they join a class. When an instructor creates a class and a student joins that class, the information available to the student in the Results Reporter is also available to the instructor in the class Gradebook. Online help describes how students view their personal results in the Results Reporter and how instructors view class results in the Gradebook. Tutorials include Lessons and Exercises. The Lessons are marked as "complete" and also record the amount of time spent in completing a Lesson. The Exercises are graded and record numeric scores (e.g., 90%). When students begin a tutorial, they can choose whether or not their results will be reported. Multiple Choices Quizzes that are not part of a tutorial receive numeric scores that are always reported. Online help describes how scores are reported and also how students can download their results and instructors can download class results to Microsoft Excel. An incomplete score will be sent to the gradebook/results reporter if a Lesson is visited, but not completed and you submit your results. This incomplete will then replace the completed attempt in your results reporter in the form of a blank cell. To prevent this from happening, do not submit a score for grading if any of the summary bullets for a Lesson are red. Click here if you have lost or forgotten your password for this website.
